Hike Waiver

Please read and fill out this one time waiver before hiking with us

(if you have not done so already)

SISTERHOOD overnight or longer events will be posted two months in advance. Trips may be for certain pace hikers. Other times capped for a certain amount of Sisters. We collect a nonrefundable deposit to hold your spot for trips. Should you have to cancel, your deposit will go toward items we need for trip or to scholarship another sister. Leadership makes the decisions regarding housing, trails, food and activities. If you are not planning to join with the group don’t go!

Leaders will try to post each months events by the end of prior month. We cancel if ICE! We hike when it’s HOT & when it’s COLD. When the weather allows we include a solitude quiet time on our group hikes. This is a time to sit & be still in nature. Pray, meditate, rest or sit in the moment. It’s about being STILL…not eating, whispering or taking pictures. For many of our hikers this is a cherished 15 minutes. Please honor the stillness. Phones should be on silent during hikes.

You are choosing to join Sisterhood/Bro/Family/Coed Hikes & such. These groups, including all members, volunteers, leaders etc. are not to be held responsible/liable for any loss of personal items, accident, injuries you may receive while joining an event. You freely make all choices regarding any event in which you choose to participate. Including transportation, hiking, climbing, water activities. You are aware that pictures/video are taken at all events and may be posted by the group/members on website/social media. By Agreeing to groups rules, you understand you are fully responsible for yourself/family at all times.

We do SISTERHOOD hikes/events to encourage women find movement, connection, & growth. Our hashtag is #moveconnectgrow We want to keep growing physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually stronger. Connection with nature and other women help us on this journey of life. Use our events to make a friend or two, getting together outside of SISTERHOOD events will grow & deepen your friendship. No should do life alone!
