Eisenhower State Park

THIS IS OUR BI MONTHLY COED HIKE ….Sisterhood hosts bi monthly hikes for both men and women. This is a time to invite you husbands, boyfriend, brothers, dads and all friends. Have everyone fill out the WAVIER and sign in at the hike.

Please arrive the front gate by 7:30am. to allow time to get through the park to parking area, use of restroom etc You must pre purchase a park pass online before the hike. This state park is often sold out on Saturdays…purchase early.

Parking: once you enter the park, drive straight ahead toward the beach parking. You will drive until the road ends. Once that area is full, you will have to turn around and find parking and walk back. Again arrive early for parking etc

The total hike will be 6.5 miles. You will have the option of a 3-4 mile hike. All hikers are always free to go as far as they wish. Pay attention to the trail all individuals choosing to return to the trailhead early are responsible for getting back. Hike leaders only return to trailhead early with hikers with injuries.

We will hike and then do a beach day for all would like to stay. We you choose to do that please bring your kayaks, stand up boards, rafts and beach chairs. Pack your own lunch and bring plenty of water. There is no shade, feel free to bring your own pop up canopies.

for those who don’t wish to stay at the beach there will be a restaurant Lunch option. we will announce where at the hike
